The Center for Reproductive Rights engages in litigation, research, policy analysis, and public education that:
- Protects the right of women to choose a full range of reproductive health services, including abortion and contraception, regardless of their income level.
- Ensures that health care practitioners are able to provide confidential services without fear of intimidation and violence.
- Supports the rights of young people to obtain confidential reproductive health care and age-appropriate sexuality education.
- Monitors the development of new reproductive technologies to ensure that childbearing decisions are protected.
- Counters punitive measures taken against pregnant women in the name of "fetal rights."
- Opposes attempts by new medical delivery systems, such as merged hospitals and managed care plans, to deny comprehensive reproductive health services.
