05.05.14 - In 2013, the Center for Reproductive Rights filed an amicus brief before the Minnesota Court of Appeals in Walker v. Jesson on behalf of Pro-Choice resources, a reproductive justice organization based in Minnesota that helps low-income women access abortion and reproductive healthcare. The case was brought by a conservative legal group in an attempt to eliminate public health insurance coverage for therapeutic abortion services, which was established by the Minnesota Supreme Court almost twenty years ago in a landmark case brought by Pro-Choice Resources.
