What's New -- December 2005

December 8, 2005

Dear Friend and Supporter,

We've been very busy at the Center, as usual. In fact, we just returned from Washington DC, where we saw arguments made in the Ayotte case before the Supreme Court -- a legal battle that could dramatically change abortion law as you know it. Click here to read our statement on Ayotte > >

Meanwhile, we are working so that our federal abortion ban will NOT go before the Supreme Court. Click here to learn more about why the Court should not review an appellate court ruling on Gonzales v. Carhart >>

Another case -- involving a woman forced to carry a fatally impaired fetus to term -- that will have tremendous implications in the U.S. and worldwide -- has just been decided, and we are happy to report that we won! Click here to read more about the Center's victory in Peru > >

We are also happy to report that we have the U.S. government on our side. Well, at least the Government Accountability Office (GAO) . Click here to learn about the Center's case against the Food and Drug Administration > >

Finally, in late October, two of our international staff went to Nairobi, Kenya, to train Kenyan lawyers in our cutting edge international litigation strategy. Visit these links to learn about our work in Africa:

Please make a donation to the Center…your support is crucial, now as always.

Thanks for your support,

Nancy Northup,
President
