The Role: 

Our Recruiting Assistant will work closely with the HR team and will report directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager. This role is an integral partner in managing recruiting activities and building candidate relationships; often providing candidates with their first impression of The Center. This candidate will be an organizational guru, work effectively with internal and external clients and candidates, possess great communication skills, and have the ability to shift gears at a moment’s notice. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Schedule interviews and phone screens; work directly with candidates and hiring managers; 
  • Coordinate domestic/international travel for visiting candidates
  • Update candidate records and job postings in recruiting systems; post and publish current jobs to the Center’s website and various other job boards; ensure jobs are current on the Organizations SharePoint site 
  • Provide follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via ATS and email 
  • Track recruiting activities and provide candidate status in a weekly reports; 
  • Coordinate and provide debrief materials for all interviews 
  • Identify opportunities for improving the candidate experience and scheduling efficiency; 
  • Provide backup administrative support to the HR assistant as needed; 
  • Support recruiting events as needed 
  • Generate background checks and offer  
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all guidelines 

   Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of recruiting coordinator or HR experience or 1+ years of administrative experience 
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Microsoft 365; Proficiency with Applicant Pro and/or Greenhouse preferred  
  • Experience with calendaring and coordinating complex travel arrangements, both domestic and international 
  • Bachelor’s degree required  
  • Strong commitment to the Center’s mission, purpose, and values
