Caroline Sacerdote

Caroline Sacerdote, Legal Fellow

Caroline joined the Center in 2016 and assists with all aspects of the Center’s U.S. litigation. She first worked at the Center in 2014 as a Summer Ford Foundation Fellow.

Before rejoining the Center, Caroline served as a Ford Foundation Post-Graduate Fellow with Lambda Legal, where she worked to help secure equal and affordable access to care and treatment for people living with and at high risk of HIV. She has previously interned with the HIV Law Project as well as the Legal Resources Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa as a Human Rights Program Summer Fellow.

Caroline received her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School. During her time there, she was an Executive Submissions Editor of the Harvard Journal of Law & Gender and served on the boards of Harvard Law Students for Reproductive Justice and HLS Lambda. She also participated in the International Human Rights Clinic at Harvard and the Harvard Negotiation and Mediation Clinic, where she worked with the Community Relations Service of the U.S. Department of Justice. She graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with Bachelors of Arts degrees in economics and political science.
