Eman joined the Center in 2018 and is responsible for providing administrative and research support to the attorneys of the U.S. Legal Program.
Eman graduated from Georgetown University in 2017 with a degree in Government. During her time at Georgetown, she founded Georgetown University Forming a Radically Ethical Endowment (GU F.R.E.E.), a campaign to pressure the University to divest its endowment from the private prison industry, and companies involved in human rights abuses in Occupied Palestine. GU F.R.E.E.’s inaugural year culminated in the University’s historical decision to divest from private prison companies in October of 2017.
Eman is fluent in English and Arabic.
