Floriane Murphy Borel

Floriane Murphy Borel, Legal Assistant for Europe and Global Advocacy

Floriane joined the Center in 2015 and is responsible for providing research and administrative support to the Europe and Global Advocacy programs.

Prior to joining the Center, Floriane worked in the Brussels office of the German Marshall Fund of the United States, a think tank promoting transatlantic cooperation on foreign and security policy. She also worked on European employment policy reform with Young European Leadership, a non-profit organization advocating for the rights of young Europeans to access education and employment.

Floriane received her B.A. in international relations from Wheaton College, Massachusetts. Her undergraduate honors thesis explored the impact of European enlargement on the human rights frameworks in Central and Eastern European countries.

Floriane is fluent in French and proficient in Russian and Spanish.
