Nicole Tuszynski

Nicole Tuszynski, Senior Manager

In 2016, Nicole joined the Lawyers Network as the Senior Manager. She works to engage legal leaders at the state and local level to build support for reproductive rights and the Center’s work. Nicole leads these efforts in Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, New York, and North Carolina. She is responsible for developing content to highlight a range of issues including access to abortion, contraception, and maternal healthcare. Recently, Nicole partnered with local legal organizations in New York to cosponsor and moderate “Religious Freedom v. Anti-Discrimination Laws: Can Rights Be Reconciled?,” and in Chicago to cosponsor “Common Threads: Examining State restrictions on 14th Amendment Rights.”

Nicole began her career at the Center as a Program Associate with the Law School Initiative (LSI) in 2009. She was promoted to Manager in 2012, and to Senior Manager in 2014. During this time, she managed a network of 640 legal faculty and organizational partners and was the liaison for undergraduate and graduate student groups across the country. Nicole was responsible for coordinating several legal symposia including “What’s the Harm: Understanding Reproductive Injustice” at NYU Law in 2015.

Nicole holds a master's degree in Human Rights Studies from New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Studies, and a B.A. in Political Science from Stonehill College.
